Terms & Refund Policy

Digital templates — all sales final

SmartScale FP&A templates are instant digital downloads. Because the file is delivered immediately, all sales are final once a purchase is complete — we do not offer returns, exchanges, or cancellations for a change of mind or a purchase you decide you don’t need.

This policy applies to files that work as described. It does not limit your rights if something is genuinely wrong: if your download is broken, corrupted, fails to function as designed, or does not match how it was described, you’re entitled to a working file or a refund. Email support@smartscalefpa.com and we’ll make it right — by resending, sending a corrected version, or issuing a refund where appropriate.

By completing a purchase, you confirm you’ve read and agree to this policy. It is also shown at checkout before payment.

Free templates

Our free templates are provided as-is for your own use. You’re welcome to use and adapt them for your business. Please don’t resell or redistribute them as your own product.

How templates may be used

When you download or purchase a SmartScale FP&A template, you may use it for your own business or clients. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the template itself as a standalone product. The underlying design, structure, and formulas remain the intellectual property of SmartScale FP&A.

No guarantee of financial outcomes

Our templates and content are tools to help you organize and understand your numbers. They are not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and using them does not create a client relationship. SmartScale FP&A is not a CPA firm and does not file tax returns. For decisions specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

Services

Fractional CFO, FP&A, and bookkeeping services are governed by the separate engagement agreement you sign before work begins. The terms on this page cover template purchases and general site use only.
